The goal of this project was to design a user interface for a soccer app that would be easy to use
and navigate, while also being visually appealing. The app would need to provide users with access
to live scores, news, and stats, as well as the ability to track their favorite teams.
Team: Oscar DeLeon, Art director.
Challenges
One of the biggest challenges of this project was to design a UI that would be easy to use for both
casual and hardcore soccer fans. The app needed to be simple enough for someone who is just getting
started with soccer to understand, but it also needed to have enough features to appeal to more
experienced fans.
Approach
To address these challenges, I started by conducting user research to understand the needs of my
target audience. I interviewed soccer fans of all ages and skill levels to get their feedback on
what they wanted to see in a soccer app.
Once I had a good understanding of my users' needs, I began sketching out different UI designs. I
experimented with different layouts, colors, and fonts to find a design that was both functional and
interesting.
I also created wireframes to help me visualize the structure of the app. Wireframes are low-fidelity
prototypes that help designers test the functionality of a design before it is fully implemented.
Once I was happy with the wireframes, I began designing the final UI. I used a variety of tools,
including Figma, to create the final designs.
Results
The final UI design was well-received by my users. They found it easy to use and navigate, and they
appreciated the visually engaging design. The app was also a success with users of all ages.
